Then, we invite you all come join us in this adventure. Today, we will go to visit our beautiful mountains.

Venezuelan mountains are part of the “Cordillera de los Andes”, one of the longest mountain chains in the World. It has a length of 7,200 kms and goes all the way down until Chile.

In Venezuela, the mountains of the Cordillera are located mainly in the city of Mérida, state of Mérida, southwest of the country.

Mérida is a college town, but it’s the best place to stay during this trip. The main places to go and enjoy our beautiful mountains are: lagunas (lagoons), picos (peaks), and small towns nearby the city, all with beautiful landscapes.
